De regno, ad regem Cypri

Thomas Aquinas, Cathedral of Saint-Rombouts, Mechelen (Belgium)

De regno, ad regem Cypri (Latin: On kingship, to the king of Cyprus) is a political treatise by Dominican friar Thomas Aquinas written between 1265 and 1266. Dedicated to king Hugh II of Cyprus, the work was left unfinished due to the premature death of the ruler.[1]
